Ultherapy: non-surgical skin tightening
Ultherapy is a non-invasive way to create a lift and tightening of the skin through stimulation of collagen production.
When patients visit family medicine specialist Donna Johnston, MD, they can expect a few things. First, they’ll be given ample time to sit with her and discuss their individual health concerns and goals in her warm, welcoming office in Melbourne, Florida. Second, they can anticipate meeting with a health care provider who offers a range of services designed to meet their medical and aesthetic needs. Patients can rest easy knowing they’ve found a dedicated, knowledgeable, board-certified practitioner with nearly two decades of experience.
Dr. Johnston completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola College in Baltimore, then earned her medical degree at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. She stayed in Florida to complete her family practice residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville. After finishing that residency in 2000, she moved to Brevard County and has practiced medicine here ever since.
Years of experience and extensive medical training enable Dr. Johnston to provide a wide range of family medicine services. She serves patients ages five and up, including annual and sports physicals and treatment of a range of chronic medical problems, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. In fact, Dr. Johnston is so dedicated to providing a true family medicine approach that she practiced alongside her father, Glenn R. Johnston, MD, until his retirement. Today, Dr. Glenn Johnston still continues to serve the Melbourne community as a SUBOXONE® physician.
Dr. Johnston is also interested in dermatology and offers a broad spectrum of cosmetic services, including Ultherapy®, Botox®, laser hair removal, dermal fillers (including Belotero®, Radiesse®, and Restylane®), microneedling, and laser skin photorejuvenation. If you’re looking for a compassionate provider who takes the time to understand your specific health needs and then provides the care and services to address them, look no further.

Botox and Xeomin are both used to help relax muscles that cause undesirable lines. Botox is made by Allergan; Xeomin is made by Merz aesthetic company. Read below for how they are similar and how they are different.
Collagen is the structural material that holds us all together. We start to lose collagen at a rate of 1% per year at age 30. Stimulating its production is very important for skin rejuvenation. And, you can't drink it, eat it, or spread it (as a cream).
